Jessica Simpson going Vegan?!?

For some reason, I have always liked Jessica Simpson.  She's got a certain charm.

However, being vegan, I was not a big fan of the "Real Girls Eat Meat" tee she wore when she was still dating Tony Romo (probably to pissed off Carrie Underwood who is vegetarian).

But Jessica Simpson is changing her tune these days in the name of love!

Jessica Simpson tweeted about trying out a vegan diet and even hosted a vegan Thanksgiving this year.  Now Jessica is reportedly enrolling in vegan cooking classes! Yay!

Her fiance, Eric Johnson, is vegan, and Jessica seems to be pretty open minded to the idea.

I realize I'm completely bias, but I think this is a great step for Jessica!  Not only is good for the animals sake, it might help her drop those pounds the tabloids keep pointing out.

Honestly, I think she still looks great with a few extra curves, but it seems pretty obvious that it bothers Jessica by the she dresses.

Back when she was thinner, I loved her style.

But she seems to be hiding these days in over-sized tops and unfitted jackets that don't do much for her figure:

And if Jessica really wants to impress her future husband, I have a great idea!  How about make the Jessica Simpson Collection, vegan!?!  Great idea right?

To support this great idea, I got these cute Jessica Simpson heels... I think they will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Vegas!!

XOXO

I adore Jessica Simpson. I HATE that the public eye has made comments about her weight. She just proves to me that she just like any other woman out there...NOT PERFECT and that working out and staying is shape takes work! She's my fave blonde! Great post!

I've met Jessica and she's super nice. There's a ton of pressure on celebrities and their bodies and at least she's fought it off. Good for her on the vegan try. My niece is vegan and has lost over a 100lbs since starting.

Honestly, I miss skinny Jessica Simpson. She was effing hot in her Daisy Duke days, and her fashion was amazing. Since she gained some weight, her fashion sucks, her self-confidence seems to have decreased, and she is more boring, overall. I'm totally on board with this vegetarianism if it mean that she improves her life.

I'm glad that you enjoyed my Superbowl post! My sarcastic comments deserve to be read.

I have allergy issues so I am gluten free and that's hard for me, I dont know if I could do vegan. I really dont eat a lot of meat I guess I could try it because I need to lose a few pounds. Also I did not notice how much weight Jessica has gained. Poor thing.

I like Jessica Simpson. She's got so much bad, undeserved publicity. It's sad. I think she looks beautiful at any weight.

Oh, and I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I've thought about it from time to time, but I don't think I could do it.

I think Jessica is brave for doing what she believes in for a change. There is too much pressure on celebrities these days and being super thin does not always mean that they're happy.
And btw, I love your shoes! You will have a great time in Vegas with them. I'm following you now.

I've always liked Jessica Simpson and I think it's great that she's trying out a lifestyle that she can share with her fiance. Good for her! Honestly, I hope she finds a way to be comfortable in her skin.

P.S. Those shoes are AWESOME.

I have always liked Jessica Simpson as well. She is one of the ONLY celebs who looks beautiful without makeup. :) It breaks my heart that she is struggling with her weight, only because she does seem very unhappy about it. I can relate as well, because in the past two years I have gained 30 pounds. It is frustrating to deal with, and I also do not dress the same. :(

I think it is fantastic that she is going vegan. From what I have heard, it is a very hard step to take for most people, especially ones who love their meat, lol. Maybe more girls will follow in her footsteps! I hope she sticks with it, at least for a while.

PS. You have truly motivated me regarding my book. I have a lot of random paragraphs written, but they are not in order or put in a book format yet. That's the hard part. It's a non-fic book about my years as a young journalist struggling to survive in a world where newspapers are disappearing. :)

I don't know if I could go completely vegan. I do love my breakfast meats. But if it works for her and others then so be it!

those jessica simpson heels are cute, I have a jessica simpson coat I just loveee. Also lol I can't stand carrie underwood so team jessica simpson all the way- even though her shirt is pretty dumb. if I see a girl wearing "real girls don't eat meat" i'd be equally pissed as her shirt, it's just stupid.

I adore Jessica Simpson, even though she comment a lot about her blond-ness moment, I think she is the real icon out there. Her choice of being vegan is her personal life and I adore you and her for doing that, I was a vegan for prob 6 years and vegetarian for 2 years. It was a hard decision, not that I love meat but because I got sick a lot even though I took tons of vitamins, now I'm on the proportionally eating habit.
Back to fashion, I surely in love with that shoes!! great choice for vegas trip

I agree--she's definitely gotten a little more "comfortable" these days. Hopefully her career will start picking up and she'll get back into shape!

I really like Jessica Simpson - Ever since her first single 'I wanna Love You Forever' - and i can't believe how much stick she got in the press for looking normal and healthy in my opinion! I would much rather have her figure any day over the celebrities who strive to be thin. I just hope she is happy x x

I don't like or dislike Jessica Simpson, but I think it's dumb to wear a t-shirt that says real girls eat meat...just exactly what did she mean by that (lol).

I'm just taken out beef and pork from my diet...I'm on my way to being vegetarian at least or as close as I can get.

I really love Jessica and I figured it was just a matter of time before she went the vegan route since her soon to be hubby is vegan. I have officially been vegetarian for almost two months and have been fine with it..... however I still eat fish and eggs. I feel like I couldn't go vegan because I will never eat tofu or any of that stuff. However I thought that being vegetarian would maybe allow me to drop some weight but that definitely did not happen.

Can I just say I love Jessica as well? I feel like she goes through so much crap with the media! And agreed, she's still beautiful with the extra curves, but needs to own it and dress the way she used too. Just because she's gained weight doesn't mean she needs to lose her fashion sense!
